Slim sightlines and a choice of five vent profiles offering optimum cost/size/weight options, mean Schueco AWS 70 SC is ideal for the fenestration in punched openings, ribbon windows and curtain walling. The window is complemented by a choice of standard or heavy-duty stainless steel friction hinges, while multi-point locking helps provide a security rating of up to PAS 24.

Schuco AWS Outward Opening Windows / Tilt and Turn Windows

This new aluminium outward opening window range extends the successful window concept with class-leading features, based on a platform of interchangeable components. Four frame depths are available 50mm, 60mm, 65mm and 70mm to meet insulation, performance and size requirements while hardware options include handles, folding openers and security rated locking.

The new Schuco AWS aluminium window system combines architectural and design features with functional benefits. Excellent thermal insulation and minimal basic depths offer architects and fa§ade designers a comprehensive level of design freedom.

Narrow face widths provide for a large glass area, allowing the fa§ades to appear streamlined and elegant. The ergonomic handles belong to a uniform range for which Schuco won the iF Award 2006, presented by the Hannover Industrial Forum.  The concealed fittings can be operated manually or automatically via buttons or via a central building management system. The result: interfaces between windows, doors and fa§ades that are uniform in terms of both technology and appearance.

Fewer components, all of which are compatible, reduce complexity for architects and fa§ade designers. Schuco AWS windows are available as burglar-resistant units up to security class 3 (in accordance with DIN EN 1627) or fitted out for the elderly and disabled in accordance with DIN 18024 or 18025.
